Story Time😊

My experiences on stages differ, I've had good and bad but today I thought of sharing the good.

So I get a call Thursday morning from my best friend and she tells me that it's time I stopped sleeping on my talent and we start building a name for Cleopatra, at first I laugh if off but I can hear from the tone in her voice that she is dead serious. I agree and she starts texting people and finally someone agrees (Lucid) agrees to help me get gigs amd puty name out there.

We here that Elibo guest house is hosting a karaoke night and Lucid talks to the owner to give me a slot and she asks me to be there. Time! homegirl is flatbroke with no cents left and we're waiting on NMDS, I ask people around me to loan me money and they agree and my best friend and make way to Elibo.

We got there around passed 5pm and there weren't people and we start wondering whether we're at the right place and  start getting frustrated that we got loaned money to be here and there aren't any people.

Fast forward to 7pm people start making way and the room is packed and it's time to sing. I always get this rush of nerves before I get on stage but this time there weren't any, the room was soo welcoming and warm as though they knew about but they didn't, I began singing and I wasn't of key or forgot my lyrics, I was soo happy and was in the moment. I wouldn't trade that moment for anything❤
